Tazewell Visit Suggestions

I know you guys have read plenty of these things,
Well things with going to see a Power Trac near me isn't working out and after reading many Tazewell visit Posts, me and my dad are planning a trip to the Power Trac plant, in June (after I get off school of course).

You guys have any suggestions, recommendations, etc?

While you are there you need to eat at Cuzes' restaurant... Likes like a dive from the outside, but some of the best food you can get.. Not cheap, but you get big portions (platter size, not plate)..

enjoy the finest of southwest Virginia.. If you are spending the night I would recommend either Bluefield va/wv (comfort inn is nice) or Princeton wv (20ish miles East of bluefield and has quite a few different hotels & restaurants)

There is a rumor that it was Tony Perkins favorite place to stay in Tazewell.

Then again, it is the only place to stay in Tazewell.

The me and my dad are, we'll likely give the "Write em' a check" command After some thought, though (key word, some )

Chris did mention paying for our Motel Room if we come.
I'm looking forward to choosing machine, but not to the 9 Hour drive

The two main machines to try; PT-1445 and the PT-1845
The PT-1430 and PT-1850 are probable machines.

hope you have better luck finding it than I did chris did not know the adress and neither did my gps but if you find the mcdees your almost there oh and on the way out of town we stopped for gas the pump was retro but it was a nice drive definately good hospitality, whatever you do make sure and take a ride on the 6 wheel amphibous powertrac sells better than a atv ride

if you know you are definitely going to buy one, then have them let you test drive the one they are going to sell you. so if there is any problems with the machine then it can be fixed before it arives at your place and you are not stuck trying to do the repair yourself. their quality control is not the best. also as a suggestion for what ever bucket you buy either have them weld shields around the zerk fitting(or do it yourself if you have the tools) or remove the zerk fittings and put in allen screws until you need to grease it because the zerks are easy to break off if a log rolls onto it. (dont ask how i know that)

Definitly drive the one you are going to buy. And drive it hard. Even pay for it, then drive it for a few hours there, before you load it.

Also, ksimolo did a very cool thing to both his and mine PT by having the factory add hooks to the chasis for easy tie down. If you need photos I can provide, but Terry should know where to place them.
