stage lean to roof plans?

That is quite a transformation from where you first started.

If someone asked you about building a stage, what advice would you now give based on having built this one and having used it?

If you can buy the lumber. I used old wood to construct this stage with and that is why it took so long to do it. The only wood in that stage that is new wood is the plywood particle board stuff, 5 2x8's, and the 2x12's I used for rafters. Everything else was harder than crap to work with. I had to use vise grips to straighten out 90% of the lumber and it was no picnic.

Thanks hobie, it was a great weekend for music here on our farm. Everyone of the bands played the rearends off. You'd thought there was a talent show going on or something. It was that dang good.

Hey AB, thanks. We're more than a few hours away from you my friend. Norristown, Georgia is located halfway between Macon and Savannah, off of I-16. But, your more than welcome next year.

Nice stage! I have plenty of advice too, for those who want it.... I've been on dozens of stages from pros, to the flatbed trailers...

My buddy built one for the Carter County Kentucky Fairgrounds this summer and it's wonderful! All cedar, big, open, and wired and wired and wired for big boy sound.

I'd think you can Google a picture, try rudy fest
