tractor tread tires for a riding lawn mower?

i have a john deere saber 1742. i haven't double checked but i assume it's got 15x8 tires on the front and 20x8 tires on the back? do they make tires in this size with tractor tread? i can't stand those "turf saver" tires. they get stuck in wet grass. i've checked online and found nothing.

They make Ag style tires in a variety of sizes for lawn mowers. Verify what size you need and check with local tire shops. Tractor Supply Co. carries a lot of them around here as well.

I have seen them on Ebay for about $150/pair.

They just seemed a little too agressive.

Don't mow when the grass is wet!!

Actually, while aggressive tires are neat for certain situations they will tear up the yard. I had a set of Titan HD Field Trax tires on my X595 and they tore the heck out of the grass, so I went to regular rounded corner ag tires. Much better!!

my lawn mower says it's 20x8.0-8. which is which? is 20 the tire diameter? which is the wheel diameter and which is the tire/wwheel width?

okay, one more question hopefully. i've found a source for the stile of tread i'm looking for. problem is they seem to have everything but the size i'm looking for. they have, 21x8.2-7.5 and 20.1x8.5-8.3 and so on. nobody seems to have a 20x8.0-8
