PT 425 with a robin engine. This weekend I went to start my Power trac and she started fine. I got off to load up the bucket and she started idling down and conched out.
No biggy. Started her back up and continued. Bogged down and stopped again,
I've, periodically, gotten debris in the gas tank cutting of the fuel and checked that. Nothing in there.
I blew out the gas line and all was unobstructed. Upon restarting, I turned the starter ignition and "1" click then what appeared to be a little crackle/sizzle. I stopped immediately and it appears my starter was under stress or dieing.
I'm also concerned maybe the motor could have locked up? I'm no mechanic, but can follow directions and have a basic understanding.
I'm planning on calling Terry this AM but thought I'd pick some brains.
My engine has approx 620 hours and has been maintained to the "T" I have left it out in the rain a couple times and this past month we've gotten a tremendous amount of rain. I live in MD My PT did get rained on for approx. 1 week. It's normally garage kept.
Thats all the info I know.
