The fact is Montana has not purchased tractors from LS in over 1 year. LS will stand behind all tractors sold in this country with parts support. There is more to come folks. More is coming out. Read the writing on the wall, its right there! These are facts from a very reliable source.

How is this for evidence:

LS Tractor USA

Since Montana is partnering up with Branson/Kukje to make their tractors, LS no longer has US distribution for their products, so they're coming in on their own. How do I know? They popped in the other day and wanted me to pick up the line. They're coming in and honoring Farmtrac warranties and taking care of Farmtrac dealers (helping them finance existing inventory), which I personally think is pretty classy.

Priced pretty well, and the 5 year warranty is cool too. An industry first (other than TYM)?

We all knew LS was coming direct so this link doesn't tell us anything new other than the 5yr warranty. Last I heard was they didn't even have wholesale financing. It does look like they have Agricredit for retail financing.

LS still has McCormick, for now. Montana carried more LS products than Farmtrac or McCormick so yes, they are losing a large distributor if Montana doesn't continue to carry their products.

As for honoring the warranties... that is just the right thing to do. So the distributor went away...big whoop. The manufacturer should honor the warranty regardless. just my $.02

I say, beans for LS for stepping up on the warranty and beans for Montana for merging with Kukje. This looks like a win/win for both companies.

They're floorplanning with GE with decent terms, and have 0% for 60 months and 3.9% for 72 months retail financing on most everything (though there is a nice cash discount cause 0% financing is so expensive).
