I live "in the woods". And, when it comes to tractor knowledge, I'm mostly "lost".

A Corporate ID number in base 32 minus I, and O letters. A REALLY smart and clever mathematician can figure out what that number is. Then I will have to kill you. The code is based on an object. I tell you what the object is. You know how to convert the object name to the base 32 "numerals". Then you have access to my account without me telling you what the actual account number is. If I add a number to the code word, its a different base. So, coyote24 would be the number formed using the "numerals" of the letters in coyote in base 24. (with the key implicit exceptions). This is the way we keep the Ruskies and the RiceGrinders and the in the dark about what caliber of Winchester we're gonna use on the Somali hostage keepers, etc.

(It was .308 with an 8.5 second deadspace period, synchronized trigger pull.

So what was the "object"?

Huh?? You lost me at Corporate...then i picked up on Ruskies, RiceGrinders(maybe), definately know Winchester and .308 is a pretty good caliber. I have to say I'm in the dark as well but I wouldn't want you to feel like you needed to "take me out"!:D

Great old thread, very enlightening.

Mines pretty simple, Its the CB handle my dad used to use back in the day for me, with a little abbreviation.

Lil = little (which doesn't apply to me any more)
FarmerJim = Farmer Jim (I know that one was easy)

My dad was/is Farmer Jim, an old HAM radio guy, still alive and kicken at 81. (But not related to the FarmerJim that is on the board here.)

Funny part is, neither one of us are farmers. Just like to play around in dirt. :D

I own a drafting & design firm. Parallel is a basic drafting term, plus, I am often "beside myself".:D

I happended on to this site while searching one day and liked it. I decided to sign up and while doing that entered a commonly used "user name". Little did I know (I was new at this posting and threading thing) that I was going to be known as my first name and only part of my last. If I had more "computin'" savy I'd picked something a little more original!:D Anyway, if you don't already know I'm Jay Stewart.
Any way It's not J.Stew.

like the others said: cool thread!

RadarTech--
Well I served my country in Marines for 9 years. During that time I was a Radar Repairman and then became a Tech. 2 of the 3 radars I was trained on are still in service. The group is small and we still stay in touch..

Becoming a tech involved nearly 2 years of school and was the career path for my field. Oh... The classes and homework I can still remember the promise of a single homework question in RF analog amplification circuits. The one that required 3 hours of work to give a simple 3.5 volt or 40 watts or 5 amps as the answer... We got tricked on that promise a few times.

For the field becoming a tech was respected and also a leadership role with a great deal of responsibility.

So as a proud accomplishment and great memories of days gone by I chose RadarTech.

As a Marine, you know the salutation is often:

Semper Fidelis and God Bless,

Radartech
Former SSgt USMC.

My handle goes back to the old eight bit file name days. Guess that just like my 24 year old quarterhorse stallion, I am showing my age.
