Look what I found on my Porch when I got home today!

When I drove up my drive and saw this sitting on my porch I

ed. Since tomorrow is my birthday I'm going to call it my birthday present to me! Heavier steel than I had visualized. Believe it will do heavy work. Now waiting on straps to install it on tractor. Just ordered it Sunday and today is Wed. Will send photos of straps when they arrive.

I see yours was shipped the same as mine, without a wrap. I bet the delivery guy was trying to figure out what the heck it was with all those teeth sticking out.

This is why I started a new post for those that had/have not been reading the original post concerning the Ratchet Rake. I was sold on it at first sight as something I want/need.

I'm even more sold on it after seeing it "in person" and believe I'll be even more sold on it when I get to use it.

I will have to charge the battery and fill the rear tires and add a rear weight box and boxblade.

Since I haven't received straps yet, I'm not sure how it'll attach to the front.

first I've heard of the ratchet rake...went to the official site and I like what I see and bookmarked it.

I do a lot of back bladeing swale holes with the FEL so it looks like it might prove useful. In the mean time I'll see how you guys like it.

I'm thinking one might be handy also. I just seeded an area, maybe around 1 acre, and it would have been handy for getting it preped. You need something to groove the soil for the seed, and it looks about perfect. Let me know how it works.

Installed and used it for a few minutes this evening. I just dragged/picked it up and set one end on bucket and then other end. Lifted end off while I installed strap clip then did same on other end. Very easy to install by myself. 5 minutes and that was mostly tightening the straps with ratchet handle. If the brackets were an inch farther from the edge I wouldn't have had to lift it off while I clipped straps but it was no big deal. I'm even more impressed with it after using it. I worked a small space that I was limited in by trees and grasses but it's left to where a hand rake will have it ready in 5 minutes to plant. Also raked down gravel in front of my tractor bldg and satisfied with results. I really like it. I can see the edges of the Ratchet Rake from my seat so helps alot being visible. Easiest implement to install that I have.
