I'll try the HanD Pump. TSC was out of them but I'll check back. It got pretty bad reviews on Amazon but for the price it's worth a try. Did you have to make any changes/adjustments to the hose? It looks a little short but maybe it will reach if I put the tank on the foot step.

The posts on dangerous to fuel and dangerous to operate...be careful in putting in print. It does not take much for ideas to get out of control. :(
I really don't want a battery operated tractor.

I know what you mean, we sell Masseys, and getting the fuel into the tank vs all over is not an easy task. We went to the local automotive store and got a huge (10" across) funnel...it makes for a bigger target. I also saw in the Northern Tool cataloge they have some fuel caddies with pumps that might be a good alternative for you. When fueling I stand in the operators area so I am leaning over the steering wheel..

Nope, used the original hose for probably 3 years or so. It then started getting brittle and breaking. I then replaced it with some fuel line from the local home store. I actually went with about the same length as the original (about 4' foot). I think it was something like 6 or 7 for the new fuel line. Has been fine since. I will probably replace the hose clamp that holds the clear line down inside the gas can as it is starting to rust pretty bad after 6 years.

So I figure I have about $20 in my whole setup. Not bad for 6 years and looks like it will go 6 more.

BTW, do you have a link for the Han-D pump on Amazon. I can't seem to find it. I would like to read the reviews.

:)
Caddies are never a good alternative as you can
put together a superior set up for less money.
