Is there an easy way to lift a heavy 5 gallon diesel jug up to fill the gas tank? Any way to prevent spillage? I'm about to fill up my MF 1531 for the first time.

We make of fun LBrown, but he does have a nice setup. And since you're dealing with diesel you might want to search on fuel diesel and posts by LBrown. Even if you're only dealing with small set up.. I found out I can get 15 and 30 gal containers for free from my local car wash. I just have to be there when he is there.

Here is my solution. 12V fuel pump and auto shut off nozzle from NT. To power it I added 12V outlet to the back of the tractor (Also used for three point sprayer). I did that to impress my wife. I could get by with a rotary hand pump.

I could do that to but with my little lot I would be whizzing on the neighbors property now or just give them all a good laugh
