That's quite the toy. I see he had to use his legs to turn pivot the hoe. Looks like who ever uses it is up for a jerky ride.

I was wonder if he was having to turn it with his legs or if he just had to walk along with it while a motor turned it. Either way, that would be the first thing I'd change.

Looks like he was just moving his legs as the machine turned itself. In the begining he tuned it with a lever before he got on the seat

I just watched again, I think all he did was pull a pin to allow the machine to free swivel after transport. I do not think it has power swivel, he's using his legs. You can see when he initially swung it around I think he hit something with the boom and then changed the angle of the boom to swing it around.

Looking at both video's, I don't think he is using his legs for boom swing. You can hear the motor strain when he moves the boom side to side. He doesn't over shoot the swing either way.

From their web site the greens machines-towable backhoe-home

"Because you use your feet and legs to swing this backhoe it is faster and easier to operate (only 3 valves)."

It's cute. But the first thing I did when watching the electric version was turn off the audio - the noise from that electric motor is a bit much.

When J.J. said mechanical swing, I'm thinking "there's got to be something I'm missing, this guy is always right". And then watched the video three more times, even with the statement from the website I'm still not sure....

Since he is only using three valves to operate the BH, he moves the swing by using a foot valve . :D :D :D
