What would you change about your current John Deere tractor?

JD 5325 - Better ground clearance for BH attachment. Some type of security feature that disables tractor.....silly one key fits all persists.

5425 with cab... things that I would like that aren't options that I didn't get - decent arm rests for the seat. I would also like the ability to check my hobbs meter while the tractor is running after I've put it into gear. Haven't messed with it at all, but once I start moving all I get is speed in mph.

Good point on the HObbs - what a pain.

Strangely enough, there never seems to be a clock on the dash. It's very cheap and I wouldn't have to free my hands, get the sleeve up and look at my wrist watch!

how about a stick on clock?

Hot sun in Texas - would probably fall off.

A clock would be easy I bet to integrate. Also, the hours on the tractor would be nice to check without having to turn the tractor off and back on.

Yes to the clock idea. Better protective front grill on loader as I have punched my hood(fiberglass) and mesh grill with tree stuff. I guess my old surfboard making skills will be used again!

JD already has the clock option available...but it costs 5/6,000.00, they refer to it as the "Cab" but it also includes Heat & A/C... :D
I say that because I got a beautiful clock on mine...right on the CD Player.....I just couldnt resist saying it...:D

You cant check hours without shutting down?

Well, cab doesn't include a clock per se, but I see your point.

You can not check the engine hours if you have moved the tractor. Once you start it and move any at all it shows speed.

On my 4320 if the tractor is idle, not moving, it defaults to the hours.

About the only thing that bothers me about the 4320 is the height of the ROP. I'd lower the ROP a foot or so.
