... good word is NH is now going to start to work on making these parts for this HST available without buying the whole HST. (Good thing for all the new 30 series HST owners)
It was said to me that this would take some time possibly 1 year plus but still great News.
Nemco, I have been following this thread with some apprehension, as I own a TC45DA and hope it outlives me.
It is unimaginable to me that NH would not sell every part, regardless of where it is in the tractor, especially since these parts are in production. I would bet that the Orange and Green salespersons will make good use of NH's reluctance to make parts available. Who would buy a car or tractor that had no parts for the transmission, with the only option to buy a new one that costs about ｽ the price of a new model?
I hope as the NH rep told you that they are going to rectify the problem and make parts available. It is a little difficult to understand why it will it take a full year before these parts can be ordered, but hopefully it does come to fruition in at least that time frame.
Do you expect to get any more feedback on their progress, or is this likely the last you will hear from NH?

At this time i have no reason to talk with the rep as he has come to the plate and done the right thing by me..
As for the parts being made available, My rep seemed genuine in telling me that the company's right hand did not know what the left was doing, now that it has been brought to light and the right people enlightened they are fixing the hst parts availability problem.
(Boy Sucks to be the guy who went the 8K)
Maybe some of the hst model owners should contact their reps and keep NH's feet to the fire by letting them know that not following through could impact sales.

Nemco, I was thinking something along these lines, too.
What do other NH owners on TractorByNet think about emailing NH Customer Relations stating our desire to see that there is follow through on making the parts available? I am thinking that enough emails from this forum could have a significant impact. It could be positive publicity for NH too, by letting us know that they are taking our concerns seriously. Hopefully, NH would provide more details on timing, too.

The Internet and this type of forum are a very big fact of life today. In times like this any company with a ruthless policy who would dare burry their head in the sand will eventually lead to a loss of sales.....
Also if this situation was not rectified by NH and I was a Green or Orange Dealer this thread would be posted in my sales area on 20x30 poster boards.
Nobody buys a tractor in this class without at least one visit to each manufacture...
Handled by the dealer network!!!! what a joke when I picked up my tractor from who I consider to be a great dealer and a bunch of great guys in service the general consensus from the guys in service was that the were shocked that I got the part from NH at all . (Way Outside of the norm I guess)
They were joking about calling me when they could not obtain the next customers parts...
The dealers are exasperated with this type of behavior from NH as well.
Rep!!! As per the first conversation with THE REP I was at a full blown NO it痴 not gonna happen. After a few days THE REP actually called me to tell me it was a possibility......... Ghost from Christmas past - I THINK NOT maybe a quick peek at some tractor forum? Huh who knows?
The best way to monitor these talk forum is not give the people who invested in your product the ammunition or reason to slam your company at all.
So basically (DO THE RIGHT THING)
After much complaining NH came to the plate and DID THE RIGHT THING but one still has to wonder if this little thread with 2000+ views didn't help things along.
As far as information being overstated the only information overstated on this thread was the $8000.00 bill that NH was all to willing to let the lowly tractor owner pay with no say.
So in the end the equation looks like this:
(No say= pay x allot)
Or
(Lots of say through forum chat on internet = individual part miraculously becomes available cheap)
Seems to me you are fairly confident in NH policy, almost to a point were one could make the leap that to some capacity you have a vested interest in NH or a NH dealer besides just basic tractor ownership.
If in fact you are a lowly pesky tractor owner like the rest of us you should be elated that this forum overstated or not exists to give a platform to one person to let them be heard and alow dirty little secrets like this to be aired out in public.
Maybe now something will be done to get the ball rolling at NH to make this and other parts available to all of us in the future.

Nemco, Thank you for stating it correctly. If it had not been for your persistence and possibly the publicity on this forum, I doubt that NH would have done anything. And, by admitting they had created a problem versus what the green guys do, they have made the first step to remain one of the best tractors to own. I just think they need to be reminded of their intentions, so we see that they carry out their pledge to make parts available, regardless of where it is in the tractor.
