JD wheel weights....? @ $128.00 a pop..?

Weights arent listed in JD Parts.....well, let me clarify....they are listed, but they are considered "whole goods" to which pricing is not available thru the JDParts site..

I have saved my local dealer in the setup information and it also allows me to view items he has in stock. I am not sure if this is why I can get the prices or not. What I have to do is go through the parts diagram and pick what I want and add it to the shopping cart then click on check shopping cart and it shows the items and their cost. Before setting up this account I could not view cost and still can't just by looking at the part.

Thats because the weight is not considered a "Part" its considered a whole "finished" good...

Example.... Rear Work Light kit for a 3x20 Cab machine....each piece individually is listed, WITH pricing...those are considered parts...the entire Kit is also listed, but that is considered a Whole Good... you need to talk to the sales Dept for pricing...

Wheel weight in itself is a Whole good...

So the whole should sell for less than the sum of the individual parts? I was able to negotiate the price on my FEL some from what I found listed on the build your own section of the JD site, but did not look up individual parts. I understand what you are stating, but did not consider that it could be looked at from that perspective.

Correct.... and why its confusing is essentially the weight is a whole finished good even though its one piece. Hindsight being 20/20...a better example would be the weight mounting kit...by buying the kit you get the bolts, nuts, washers, spacers, etc.. for less then buying each individual piece from Deere...

Because its a whole good...you can negotiate with your salesman on it....just like your FEL... I negotiated the price of my Rear SCV Kit...

I see. Thanks for the explanation. I have contacted the salesman I dealt with on the loader for a price using JD weights and also using another company's weight that I found on this site. I contacted the company and they require going through a dealer. Will wait to see what kind of numbers he comes up with.
