I tilled this with my middle buster. It's roughly a third acre. Now, I have to get it disked and composted before the snow comes. I have another 1/2 acre plot as well. I did that Pre-Bota. This year I grew tomatoes, beans, peas, 5 kinds of squash, peppers, pickles, onions, lettuce, radishes, etc. We enjoy eating/freezing these things. It was a pilot year, as we just got the property in spring. Next year? We go for the gold.
BTW- I am going for an organic certificate. The price point for organic makes it possible to do some things profitably. I grew up on a truck farm, of over 8 acres, so most is all too familiar, but the organic, ie, no chemicals, pesticides or herbicides has been a very enjoyable learning process. I am studying hard.
I had a little issue with the BX. I found a loose hydro line fitting, Ugh. All taken care of now. I jabbered about it on another thread.
Like you, I guess, my BX is a necessary and marvelous tool out here in Beaver Creek.
