Thanks for the undercoating tip. I found some welting local. EXPENSIVE! I might have to keep searching as I need 16'. I beleive it's called windlace at some places.

You may also try a junk yard. I'd think you could find something wrapped around the inside of a door on a compact car or some such. I doubt it would cost you much.

I guess it doesn't REALLY need anything at all. I'm not sure it ever had anything on there. I was just trying to make it nice and clean.

JC Whitney has the moulding your looking for and I belive in different color's also.If I remember not to expensive.might really set yours apart from the rest of the crowd.
