Understanding power beyond circuit

Already have loader & 3rd valve out front so I'm good there. Was more interested in hydraulic hand tools to run of PB circuit.

Thinking more on the lines of being able to hook trailer up to tractor and put hydraulic tools in trailer and take out to remote locations to prune limbs, run a small hydraulic breaked to get through rocks when setting fence posts, etc.

Kind of us the tractor as a driveable, remote source of hydraulic power.

I think you should be able to do that with your existing rear remote(s?). Just hook up the hoses, lock the remote(s) in "on" and go. As I understand it, most such tools are (or can be) "Open Center" style (like this, so the tools should send fluid from the in port to the out port when not in use (should work fine with your remote) and should divert the flow through the motor when you need it. The tool dealer should be able to give you more info as to what their tools need for power.
I would guess that most small hydro power sources run in a similar fashion, otherwise they would be sitting in relief mode all the time.

I would not use the backhoe connections in the same way as you may not have a system relief on them, whereas the remote will have a relief on it. You could however add an electric over hydraulic open center remote to your tractor (where the BH connections are) and use that to let you turn the remote on the tractor off when changing tools

Is it bad form to quote onself? anyhow, you could use this https://www.surpluscenter.com/item.asp?item=9-5117 on the lines from the tractor. It could be connected as shown below. Normal tool operation would put be in A mode, and you would switch it to B mode when changing tools. No need for the system to be in bypass for more than a second that way.

Just my random ideas.
