Hi there Copperhead, sorry little late on this but, it's a LEINBACH L-7200 Jr. post hole digger. I've only used it a few times so far to plant a few posts...it works great. Made for smaller compact tractors. Mine has the 9-inch auger. Of course they come in yellow. I painted mine to match.

Great work there and yes, working with your Bota is fun, in some profound, primal way!

Couldn't help but notice in the photos that you have turfs on the back and Ags on the front. Assuming it came that way from the previous owner? Maybe someone else could answer this better, but I might be a wee bit concerned about this mismatch on the drive train. At first blush, just first blush, the grip would be quite different. Wondering if this might cause some issues with sync mismatch wear and tear?

I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere on this site before. I've always wondered if anyone has ever moved up from the smaller wheels of the BX-1500 / 1800 to the larger wheels / tires of the larger BX models? Can it be done without being out of sink with the drive train and / or damage to the transmission? Would the slightly taller wheels even bolt up to the 1500??

If so, I would jump on it just for the slight 1-2 inch clearance. Would help somewhat for crawling in my back woods. Also I could bolt on a pair of R-4's

Yeah, read through the whole thing. Like most threads, there are a lot of posts that "fill" the space, but this thread chronicles my doing just what you are contemplating. If you have a MMM, no can do. If you don't, well, there is a great option awaiting you. Just look at my avatar.

Ok, that explains it. I'm looking hard at one. Pole barn, split rail fence, new clothes line for the Mrs., spring flower planting........
