OH My! New Kubota Grand L or New Camaro

Back in the day I had a friend who had a 68 Camaro, he sold it to buy a van because then they were the in thing. He's still kicking himself.

Thanks for supporting my new Company.

I am a taxpayer after all.....................................

Waited for quite a while thinking you'd get a comment but ain't happening is it..... ;)

I'm not happy about it at all. But in today's society no one seems to care. When we get converted completely to Socialism I wonder if the Camaro color options will expand or if it will even be offered?? :D

Sadistically funny that I would hear this now, but just heard on Public Radio News that GM is back in DC asking for a third handout to support their GMAC subsidiary. Seems they need 5.6 Billion by early November to support bad loans they bought into. The loans were in the housing market. Expecting Congress to give them the money to assist with votes needed next summer. There goes the color expansion of the Camaro!!! :p

Edit: I wrote the below after only reading the first page. Didn't know it was a 7 pager. Oh well. Hope you are burnin some rubber.

I love the classic camaro's (I had 2 in the day). We could burn some rubber, jam some gears, and the sound of the engine through the duals was awesome with the cam loping.... But to me, the new camaro's look great and kind of reming me of the real ones but they just are not the same. No great sound rumbling cam, cops lurking everywhere, illegal to burn rubber unless on the track, high consequences for high performance. I know they have awesome performance but you really are not allowed to tap into it. I'd rather spend 20-30 grand on a real 60's and stick it in the garage. Once a year I'd do a burnout then put it away. I love to use things as they were made to be used. At least with the tractor you can do that. I still need to go nuts on high performance machines so I race offroad motorcycles and love every minute of it. May you find your peace.

Know exactly what you mean. I lost a Son in an auto accident 15 years ago. I still have his first car, a black '79 2dr Malibu with a 403 Olds V8 that he built and stuffed in it, 400 turbo, 3:55 gears w/locker. I get it out a couple times a year and do burnouts up and down the blacktop in front of my house. Seems to draw cops for a couple days after. They are drawn to the smell of burning rubber and the squiggly marks on the highway like buzzards are drawn to a rotting carcass. Some people think I should never drive it to prevent something happening to it. I don't think Eric would be very happy with me not driving it. Everytime I crank it I can hear him whispering in my ear with pointers on how to get more out her. Keeps me young and lets me find the peace you are talking about. ;)
