What's a reasonable price to pay for a new 3045, HST, loader with QA bucket, loaded rear tires?
What's a reasonable price to pay for dealer installed remotes?

Someone has to know what a 3045 costs.
I got a quote for a new 3045,HST, loader with quick attach plate and bucket, 4wd, industrial tires, loaded rear tires, 2 remotes. Dealer came back just under 30K before tax. 1800 of that was for the remotes.
Is that high? Low?

I believe that the price you quoted is high, as long as it is not a cab tractor. If a cab, then the price is low. It pays to shop around. Since you have no location listed, it's going to be impossible for others to suggest a dealer that may do better on a price.

I live in northeastern IL. I have some property in southern IL. That price was from a southern IL dealer. I thought it was high too.

There are older price lists(look for the tc45DA and the numbering system between now and the TC system(2032???)) on this site for government contract prices. They may be 1-2 years olds. The tractors are very nearly identical(or it has been reported as being so).

I don't have time to look now, but one can find them by doing a search.

OK, since you're in the Midwest, this page has some possibilities.

These are all 2008 models depite what the listing says. The 2320 was only a 2008 model, the 3045 is the 2009 model.

There is a cab unit for about the same price you were quoted and there is a nice T2320 with loader, 44 hours, in Indianna for $23,500. To me that is a great price on a almost new unit. The white numbers aren't even scraped off the loader bucket. I'm sure the warranty is transferrable and there should still be some left.
Main thing is to shop around, there are some dealers that will do very well for you.

I just got a 3045 w/cab non-supersteer, r4 tires, am/fm/wb cd radio, 2 remotes, rear window wiper, priced w/250tll oader w/ ssl quicktach, approx 33,000 if i remember correctly. Eastern Iowa

That price is high by at least 10%. I don't know specific pricing, but I do know that I'd tell that dealer to knock off another 10% or I'd be looking somewhere else. For example, I think your remotes should only add about $1200 to the price. You could put them on yourself for around $1050. $1800 is what I'd expect to pay for three remotes with installation instead of the two you were quoted.

When you get a quote, get the prices broken down item by item. That way you can post the prices and get a better response. Maybe you did and that's why you know remotes were $1800. The problem with posting a complete price is like Holtzacres responded with his full price with the cab. If you posted a detailed breakdown, we can respond to the items we know whether our configuration is exactly like yours or not. You know that Holtzacres paid $33k with a cab, but how much was the cab? $5k? $7k? If it was $6k, then you know your price should be around $27k for your tractor. You have to know the details so you can compare apples to apples. The more detail, the better your responses will be.

Pops, those remote valve kit numbers are not the right ones for the 3045. The first remote valve on Messicks.com is $672 and the second is around $500. There is no "finishing" required for those kits. They come complete. I think your dealer is confused. I also think their price for the quick attach plate and bucket is high. I still think your tractor should be around $27k total. I'd keep looking for a better deal. I'd ask for another 10% off from your dealer.

Edit: I know it's been a long time since 2001 when I bought my tractor, but I paid $250 for my 1st remote and $205 each for number 2 and 3. That's $670 for three remotes identical to the two your dealer wants to charge you $1800 for. Do you see why I think you are being gouged?
