Guys thanks for the help. I'll check on the bigger blower. I just assumed the dealer would price me a blower that was as wide as the tractor. Its possible I misheard him and he did quote me a larger blower. I also think the tractor is priced a bit high. But I'm in a tough spot right now if he will not come down on the price because I need the tractor soon and it does have the cab, heater and a FEL. The dealer has good reputation but his prices are considered to be on the high side.

Just curious.................. have you priced new? Might be worth looking into with the zero percent financing deals out there. New also comes with a warranty......... if maint. costs worry you at all.

I agree, you are up in the range of 20 grand. At this point you should at the very least look at new iron and play with the numbers. I dont imagine the B7800 is going to be in production too many more years, not that you should worry about this as these machines last for decades with proper pm.

I noticed on the dealers website that they also list a 2006 B7800 with a FEL and cab for less money. The picture shows a rear mounted blower but it doesn't look like it's attached so it might not be included. If they will include it in the deal for a bit more money you can get the entire package for quite a bit less than the other one you were interested in. I like my front mounted blower but I never really minded my rear mounted set-up. I also agree with those that said you should look at new also. With a substantial amount down and 0% you can get exactly the machine you want. Decisions, decisions:rolleyes:. Good luck and don't delay as the wind is blowing cold here this morning.

Last summer I looked into purchasing a B7800 w/FEL from the dealer in Walpole, NH.
I believe they quoted me under $16,000 including the FEL and loaded R4's as the B7800 is being phased out and replaced by a newer model.
Keep that in mind when haggling for price reductions.

Being a first time CUT buyer with a tight budget I opted for a real nice, garage stored, B7200 w/FEL and MMM w/600hrs and absolutely no wear on the FEL.
I unloaded the MMM on ebay 'cause I don't need it and brought my cost to within 1/3 of the B7800.
Although light on power, I just am amazed what this little beast can do.

Once I move to NH next year I'll definitely be looking for a B7800 - NICE PACKAGE.
Enjoy yours.

Guys I visited two Kubota dealers today and looked at/priced a few new and used Kubotas. A new Kubota 3200 with what I want, FEL, heated cab, and 63" front blower, lists at around $28,000. If I could knock 10% of this and get down to a price of around $25,000 then I would give it some serious thought. As it stands now the list price with tax takes the price over $30,000 which I cannnot justify given the fact that besides snowblowing and some bushhogging I will not use the tractor that much.

The first dealer I visited is minutes away from where I live. Although the dealer handles the Kubota line I got the impression Kubotas were not a large part of their business. The only used Kubota the dealer had close to what I wanted was a BX2350, 10 hrs. (basically still new), 23 hp., heated Curtis cab, tires filled, rear wheel weights, 50" front blower and rear sander. The price was $13,500 plus $3,500 for an installed new loader. This is tempting but I am concerned about the 23 hp. and prefer a larger higher grade blower.

The second dealer is about 45 minutes from my house and had the 2003 B7800, hydro, FEL, and heated Curtis cab, for $15,500, that I wrote about before. I could not look at this tractor because it was at another store. The dealer did have on site the 2006 B7800, hydro, 285 hours, FEL, heated Curtis cab, for $13,900, that Rpraymond mentioned. The tractor appeared to be in good shape but I did not have time to give it more than just a short look. The dealer will add the 63" blower (#2782A) to the tractor for an installed price of $5,700. So the cost of this tractor with the blower would be $19,600.

The way it stands now I am leaning towards the 2006 B7800. Its $8,000 cheaper than a new 3200 and will have the hp and blower I want. The BX 2350 is $2,600 less than the 2006 B7800 but once again its only 23 hp. and has a smaller blower. Of course if a dealer gives me a smoking deal on a 3200 I could probably swallow the extra $5000 it would cost.

Go to this web site, submit a request for a 3200 just like you want option wise and for the price you'd like to pay and see what Brady comes back with. Lots of guys here have bought from them and have been extremely happy. They will deliver to your door at which time you can inspect the tractor, then pay them.

The B7800 will be adequate. I have a one mile long driveway with lots of hills. The drop from the top of the driveway to the house is about 140 feet. I reguarily have drifts 5 and 6 feet high. You will definitely need a blower that is as wide as the tractor or wider. I have the 60" one and it works fine. You will definitely need chains as the tractor is very light. I got them from tirechains.com. You will need to reverse the front tires to get the front ones to work. I hope you get what you need at a good price.

So, which one did you buy? You had some good options to choose from.

I have loaded rear tires and still put chains on all four tires in the winter as I found I needed them for traction and to keep from sliding down while traversing a slope sideways.
