I've just started to use the 2516 I bought and come to find out my diff lock doesn't actuate. I step on the diff lock pedal and it is still a one wheel wonder. Is there an adjustment for this? There is VERY little play in the pedal and if I move it with my hand it jiggles. Not a real "engagement" if you get what I'm saying. On my Bota or Kioti if I stepped on the pedal it would lock both and pull itself out .....

Thanks!

Yes, there is an adjustment for the differential lock pedal depending on whether you have the HST or gear. If it's under warranty then I'd have the dealer look at it just in case there's another problem other than an adjustment. Have you checked all the linkage?

Yes I have the gear model. The linkage moves very little. I hate to put it on the trailer (military trailer on 39 inch tires) lol

Looked at the linkage and all SEEMS fine but it still does not engage. I'm stumped.

If you want and feel comfortable, I'll send you the adjustment steps from my 2815 manual. I may be wrong but I don't think there would be much different between the two in this area. For the gear tractor there's not a whole lot to adjust but maybe someone else can verify this adjustment between models before you do anything.

Apologies for stating the obvious but this might need to be done while the machine is not in motion. Mine will not engage if it is moving.

Yes. Not in motion with clutch in. Press diff lock pedal and let off clutch. One wheel wonder lol.

Manganos,

What did you find out about your differential lock?

Mahindra fixed it under warranty! I think it was a few springs and a metal plate. The gentleman who fixed it said he had to split the rear end to fix it.
