Tractor
Kubota
Just finished her up and she's working good.At my age I don't like the open-air so much anymore :)

1-1/2" main frame
3/4" door and side panel frame
Skin-12 gauge steel
Aluminum roof panel
Laminated tinted glass windshield
Tinted Lexan side and rear windows
24V 700 watt heater
55 watt driving lights
LED tail lights
Remote controlled caution light
Automatic door closure w/Perko flush mount latch
Weighs around 300 lbs so it's a little top-heavy :(
Total investment around 2K when I get the 24V alt rigged up under the tractor and hooked to the mid PTO.

I like it! That would be a handy little outfit, especially for tight places

Did you make the cab or was it purchased?

I designed it and farmed out the welding to a local fab shop. The build detail is on a thread at mtf* in the build it yourself section.I built it pretty tight as I'm heating with electric. The door goes"whoosh" when closed :)

Wow - super job Locknut. You have some awesome fabrication skills. I guess you're slowing building a 3/4 scale B3030. When does the backhoe go on. :D

I need to add a door closer to my cab, and what you used looks to be perfect for my application. Where did you purchase it, and do you have the part number or description? I have a Curtis soft cab that I am going to be changing the doors to metal skinned and adding a sliding window to it. Thanks

Great Job! You must have the greatest and most expensive lawn tractor ever. Let us know if the top heavy bothers you when you use it more. Will the cab come off in the spring?;)

I picked it up at a local hardware True Value store.Had two choices;one for 15 or one for 20,so I got the HD $20 one.Should be an easy item to find at any hardware or home center store.
