okay, here is the grill guard... it is a little bent up but it looks pretty good anyway. Its not like its going on a wall, its going on my Tractor.I just grinded off the old paint and some rust, took a sledge to straiten sone of it out, and painted it. Pretty simple. It will look great on my Yanmar.
CrassUmmm..... scotty, At 14 years old, I love to see someone be curious on these type of things. Still lessons to be learned total loss or not. If anything he is being very neighborly by helping out. Better thin playing the wii, surfing the 'net or any video games the rest of his generation is doing. Go on jake, keep us posted, lets see pics of that fixed up guard

Don't get me wrong Spruce! I appreciate his enthusiam, and certainly eagerness to learn how things work! A lot like myself as a lad. Just saying that this thread went from a re-build, to parting-out, to puddles of Aluminum, where the transmission used to be! Part of the learning process is learning what's practical, and what's not. Sorry if I came on too strong! Amen on the Video games, Wii, etc. Get out in the 'Shop' where the real (greasy) fun is! ~Scotty
