We MAY see it, but I'll say without a doubt that Deere will NOT be the first with it...Deere isnt an innovator....They never have been.
I think you are dead on there. About 10 or 12 years ago I wanted a CUT with a factory cab and A/C. I had a JD at the time, so I went there to look first. They basically told me that the public would never want a CUT or possibly even a smaller sized utility tractor with a cab and A/C. I promptly sold the JD, I think 4500?, and bought a new Kubota 5030HSTC. Kind of the same happened with my JD Gator. I've probably had 5 or 6 JD Gators but said I wanted one a little stronger, preferably not belt driven and with a factory cab and A/C. You guessed it, I went with a Kubota RTV1100.
I now have a JD5525 since the JD cab was considerably larger than the M series Kubota lineup and the JD had the 'buddy' seat in the cab. With 5 kids, believe it or not, it's a big deal to let one of them ride with dad. I have the PowerReverser transmission which is easy to use, but I have to admit that I'd probably go for a two pedal hydro tractor in roughly the same size. One thing I personally didn't care for on the 5030HSTC was the rocker pedal. Driving it across anything but the smoothest surfaces resulted in a jerky ride from the small bumps making my foot rock the pedal. Some love that setup, I just personally prefer two pedals. If Kubota comes out with a M series tractor with about 100 hp with a cab big enough for two seats and a hydro, you can pretty well bet that I'll go back to Kubota. I hope somebody does.
