Thanks for the support, so early in the morning - makes for a better day.
What I've found strange about tractor shopping is there isn't any published pricing on these things. Ain't like cars - why the secrecy?
Not sure if anyone responded to this specific issue but you can get MSRP on any Kubota tractor and factory accessories and implements from the Kubota web site. You need to drill down to the model your interested in and then click on the "build my kubota" link right above the picture(s) of the model.
For example, click on the "build my kubota" link here for MSRP on any of the Grand L models.

sbafk, I agree that a lot of the options Kubota lists are not clear on exactly what they are. Many more for a Grand L than my rather plain BX, so I didn't face all those issues. My recommendation is to compare the base tractor with loader MSRP to what prices you get from the dealers. This will tell you who's willing to deal and who's not. Chances are if a dealer is giving you a good deal on the basic tractor and loader, their prices will be no worse than others on the customization options.
Also, on rear remotes, a lot of guys add their own. There are many threads in the Hydraulics forum with good advice. If you feel comfortable doing it yourself, you can save quite a bit of dough. I do recommend getting at least two rear remotes. Top n' Tilt is a nice option (I have the Top only on my BX and it's nice to be able to change the fore/aft angle of a blade or rake from the seat, plus it makes hooking up a little easier.) On a third function for your loader, a lot of TBN'rs have added the WR Long 3rd function kit. I'd check it out and see how the dealer pricing compares. Here's a link
Valve Kits
(oh, don't know if you can buy direct from them, so you may have to go through a dealer anyway. You can get some cost info in the Hydraulics forum)
What is the difference in price between these two PHD's/augers?In regards to the hydraulic auger,
Get a FEL mounted hydraulic auger. IMO much easier to use because you are looking straight ahead. I hate having to position my auger by turning my head and driving backwards. I rented a skid steer auger and looking and driving forward when placing it makes a world of difference, especially when you are setting 30+ posts. The hydraulic auger is better because you can control it much better and you can reverse it. With a PTO auger the speed does not ramp up. Plus if it gets stuck you just back it out a little. I twisted many a shear pin on my PTO auger by not being able to stop it quick enough when it goes too deep.
