I own a B2920 and a JD 425.
For mowing, especially if you're doing grass collection, it's hard to beat a JD 500-600 series (children of my 400) that has a blower and the material collection system on it. It will hold about 18 bushels in it's tow behind cart, and you can dump the cart without getting off the mower. These are true JD mowers and should not be confused with JD rebranding of Lowes or Home Depot mowers. So if 99% of what you want to do is mow without grass collection, look at the zero turn models (Kubota sells some). If you want to do 99% mowing with grass collection, look at the JD 500-600 with material collection system.
When I bought my B2920, I was tempted to sell off the 425 and use the money to buy a large mid mount mower for it, but there really was no way that I could match what I had for the grass collection. So now I have both.
The BX series are (as others have mentioned) true tractors. If you have sloped hills to mow, the BX has a much lower center of gravity then the B series. If ground clearance is more of a issue, then look at the B series.
Kubota is doing some good financing systems now, so consider getting everything you need as a initial purchase, rather then just getting what you can use now.

I have a friend just bought a BX2660 with mmm. He is looking at getting a bb. I feel a 6' blade is not too big for dragging sand around his place on level ground or grating the drive. All the salesmen want to sell him a 4' based on tire width. I feel this is because many folks will snag things due to not being able to operate the equipment properly, not based on equipment capability. I used a 6' blade on a smaller, lighter 21hp 2wd and steered with the brakes. I just can't see a 4'. What do most of you guys use with your BX models?

Carter, In my opinion, the dealer is a bit closer to the reality than your desire for a six footer. That would be a load, trust me. Not saying it wouldn't work, just not nearly as well as a 5', which would split the difference. I agree that a 4', when tilted, would not be wider than the track of the rear wheels. The BX is a blast, but a lot of the joy disappears when attempting to use too large of implements, for my money.
