can you outline the process and cite the materal dimensions and hole sizes?

Or just copy an existing implement.

Use 1/4", 5/16" or 3/8" thick (depending on your application) bar stock 3" wide.

As for process I did 'heat and beat' using a sledge and the edge of a concrete block until both sides lined up nicely I then tacked the two pieces together and drilled the top link hole so it would line up correctly.

I'm thinking about experimenting with building something for my 3pt. hitch, but when I try to find out if I can buy "toplink side bars",(what I think they are), I can't find anything at Tractor Supply nor Northern Tool; so maybe I'm searching with the wrong name? Does anybody know of a source for these parts?

Tisco sells an 'A' frame kit that you bolt to your 11-hole cat 1 drawbar... I got one from my dealer for about 20$ a few years ago..

Completely different.. a frames are different from stays and stabilizer bars..

Bush Hog dealers can get them as replacement parts. You may not like the price though. Cutting and drilling the holes is easy if you make your own; bending them is a pain if you don't have a hydraulic press.

Flat bar, heating torch, vise, hammer and drill. Make your own. You may need to get the measurements off another piece of like type equipment if you dont have anything to go by.

If you have a log splitter,it makes a dandy press for bends like this. Just need a V cut into a chunk of 4 X 4.

I was thinking, possibly incorrectly so, in context of a drawbar type stabilizer for which I've seen both type designs marketed.

Unfortunately my tractor and implements are in GA and I am wintering in FL..so I can't measure anything...
