I never said that you had to have a class A to tow over 10k, just that a regular license, depending on the state, doesn't allow towing of trailers in excess of 10k GVW.

Some states require an endorsement or a non-comm class A to tow over 10k.

This is where RVers are running into problems with the bigger fifth wheel trailers that go into the 18-22k range.

Both the N.D. and Georgia licenses allow a vehicle of 26k or less to tow a trailer of 10k or less. That would seem to say that you need an additional endorsement or an upgrade in license class.

Reread Georgia's class C and ND's class D.

I finally upgraded my tow vehicle to a Ford F250 crew cab 6.0L Diesel. All I can say is wow, what a difference between it and the Chevy 2500 6.0L gasser. I get almost double the fuel economy towing and can tell a big difference in overall drive ability and handling. Here are a few pics. Mike

Nice combo:thumbsup:They do have the roll on rhino-liner stuff at most part stores for the dove-tail project. I also have trailer like yours and load it all the time with 10 bales weighing in at 1500+lbs a piece,I also carry my 50hp tractor and 8ft shredder(pull tractor all the way to neck and put loader on neck) and kubota7040 cab/tractor. Your twin 7k axles are not carrying all the load of your trailer, like mentioned before saying your going to have to subtract your trailer weight from what the trailer can haul. It all depends on how your have the weight on the trailer and were the axles are located, cause some is going to be on your truck. And always have good tires and brakes when hauling heavy loads. hayhauling pics.jpglast load of the year 2.JPG

That is a good looking truck. I love my 06 F-350 SRW 4x4 6.0L. It has the same beige color at the bottom and is dark blue.
