Anyone have broken Nimco FEL Joystick valve?

I replaced my "nimco" valve with the factory replacement and paid over $900.
Mine is located on the bottom of the FEL and cable controlled from the joystick.
You seem to have more options. Nimco, would not sell direct to me, but named several retailers. They also did not offer parts...just the whole overpriced thing.

Ouch. What happened to your original valve and about how long ago?

I brought it to two places and the first guy said he didn't have the time to get that far into it.

The second guy tore it down and found that the spools were bent.

This was a few months ago. I bought the tractor second hand and had been having problems with the joystick since. It looks like your setup can be converted to another brand easier than mine. Also the second guy wanted to change my setup to having the valve on the fender, but in my opinion that would have been alot of rerouting hoses for the backhoe and all. I should have done it though. Would have been half the cost.

Yeah, sounds like you had a challenge on what to do to get it fixed. Many of us like doing our own work- up to a point. It's good you found a guy to fix it for you, though.

How's it working? That's the main thing. A FEL without a working valve is useless. Looking at it that way, it's a good investment to get it back to good performing condition again. Now you can go enjoy it! ;)
