Ratchet Rake at TSC only

I've been wtaching their site to see when the larger model wouold be available. They updated the website to state on-line orders have ceased. Luckily I'm in one of the TSC store states that they mention.

I ordered one from ratchet rake and had it in a couple days. It works great for cleaning out over grown ditches etc.:thumbsup:

I had one of the bigger ones and sold the B3200 tractor that it fit. They sent me a buyer for it and have a smaller one on the way for my BX's. They are a fantastic company and the RatchetRake is a fantastic implement.

The rake looks like a toothbar except with a few more teeth.

I would think a toothbar would do double duty digging and root removal. Just my $.02. I have a W.R. Long toothbar so I have a little experience with this but not the Ratchet Rake.

I have a toothbar, I just sold it for $50. I just recieved my second RatchetRake to fit my BX's today. They are not the same or used for the same thing. The teeth on the RR are big forward for brush clearing and the small teeth on the bottom are very fine for finish leveling for grass seeding. The teeth on the toothbar are really wide apart and not sharp at all. Here's picture of new RR and departing TB.

Wow! I was hoping they would come out with something bigger, but now they won't even sell them at all other than TSC but not at TSC anywhere near here. Oh well, it's money I won't have to worry about spending, LOL.

No kidding. I don't live in one of the "proper" states and besides, the nearest TSC is over a hour away for me. I hope whatever deal they made is worth it for them. I really wanted a RR, but I guess not now.

$299 plus $10 for wire cable option instead of strap when they were sold direct. Who knows, TSC may sell them for less since they will be buying in volume.
