Tractor
John Deere 2320
Looking for some information on Rotary Cutters to maitain and clear 2 acres of wooded lot, I have seen many out there from very expensive to dirt cheap, I am going to use my 2320 to operate it so from what I have been told I can not get anything over 4ft cut I am leaning to Countyline through tractor supply but as usual I like to hear input from you guys due wealth of knowledge. I kinda got watch cost due the fact of the recent purchase of the tractor it self.......

The Country Line brand is made or distributed by King Kutter. King Kutters are servicable, but not the prettiest girl at the ball. There are a number of TBNers that get many years of service from them.

You have plenty of 3ph lift capacity, but you're on the low end of the required PTO HP for a 5' cutter. It'll work but, depending on the brush type and thickness, you may be going slow or making partial width passes.
If you're in a hurry, go for the 4' unit. If time isn't of the essence, maybe look at the 5' cutter.

As far as the delivery of the tractor...if it's on the dealer's lot or if he can pull one from another dealer...won't be too long. If he has to order from the factory, it could be a few weeks to a couple months. These CUTs are brought in from Japan (until you get up to the 4xxx series) so it's not like they'll be trucked in from Iowa.

Tractor is assembled in Augusta, Georgia, motor is a yanmar from Japan but that's it. I think the 55 series was the last one where the whole tractor was built by yanmar.

I believe you're incorrect.
Next time I run down to check the 790, I'll check the product identification plate. I'm pretty sure all the smaller and medium sized CUTs are built in Japan, knocked down for shipment and then set up in the US (basically install the tires, fluids and things like that). Most of the 5xxx series are built in India.

My 755 was assembled in Augusta, Georgia, the first year that plant opened.
