WOW! Now THAT is attention to detail. That is a super site, and an even better tool. Thanks for sharing that. I'll save that link.

I'm pleased with my choices...but I sure could have used this link and I'm sure others will too.

Thanks again for posting it.

Feel free to take a look at my pics link to see how I have my B3030 outfitted. I recommend the cab-style fender mounted loader joystick as an option.[/QUOTE]

Hey Bandit, I have already found your tractor pictures on my own. I am a member of webshots and have used a couple of your pictures as a screen wall paper. Quite a nice looking tractor.

I am currently trying to figure out which B tractor to go with. I will still use a belly mower primarily to mow my yard with. But is the B3030 just too big for lawn mowing, or does it do very well? I am concerned with the extra weight of the 3030 versus the 3200.

Sounds like you really love your 3030.

I don't use a belly mower on my B3030. I don't have a nice enough lawn on my mountain property to justify one, but I do plan to get a flail mower to mow both the field grass and lawn grass on my property. I just added a lot of lawn grass last summer, and am not looking forward to using a push mower.

I know a lot of folks mow with their B3030, and LawnKing used to have a cabbed version that he also mowed some of his customers lawns with in New England. I haven't heard any complaints regarding the weight of the B3030 on a lawn.

I honestly don't believe the B3030's extra 88 lbs is going to make a difference when mowing. If you want the extra options of the B3030, then buy it and don't look back. The B3030 is incredibly nimble for it's size - bigger tractor power, small tractor feel, so to speak.

I mow 2 acres with my B3030 and 60" MMM and it is very good. I used to mow with a JD318. Not only can I mow much faster, I also get a smoother ride. The larger tires help in that regard. The B3030 turns very sharp so trimming around trees and landscaping is not a problem. I can honestly say that the power steering on this tractor is the best of any vehicle I have ever driven. One word describes it. Effortless. One finger steering in any situation. Turning corners while mowing is a breeze. The tractor is a bit on the heavy side for mowing if you want a finely manicured look to your lawn. I have loaded rear tires which I need for FEL work and snow removal. That is a negative for lawn mowing but, if you have relatively dry ground it is not a deal breaker for me. For a tractor that fills all of my needs I don't know of anything better that is available. I bought the B3030 for the deluxe features it had over the B7800. I would buy it again over the B3200 for the same reasons. Some of the little things you don't think you need are quite nice to have once you get them. The tilt steering wheel is just one little detail that makes getting on and off the tractor much easier. The position of the tilt release pedal by your left foot is perfect. I grew up driving farm tractors so I wouldn't want to live without position control. The telescoping sway arms and lower links make changing implements simple. Not much more I can say about the B3030 except that I still like it 325 hrs and almost 5 years later. I would buy again. Good luck

I mow with a B3030 HSDCC and 60 inch King Kutter that I got from TSC about 6 years ago. Doesn't do a bad job at all. I haven't had any issues with the tractor being too heavy. The JD 790 that I had previously didn't seem to have a weight issue with the lawn either.

I never even considered the 3200 when I bought my 3030; the former just didn't impress as much as the latter.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
From those owning B3030's....do you notice any difference in yours and the new 3200 line?
What are the differences between the two tractors?
Currently i have a new B3200 TLB which is two months old, and I do really like this tractor. Now I have driven a B3030 that my neighbor has and it is a very nice driven tractor.I also have had two of the BX Tractors in TLB and they were both real nice machines. Just remember the B3030 and some of the other models have 3 cylinders, the B3200 has a four cylinder which I consider much smoother and more powerful the the 3's.The B3200 of course is Kubota's new model Tractor and I believe At least for me it has power, lifting capacity and a strong 4 cylinder diesel engine that is probably over powered for the tractor, you'll break traction before your limit your task. You'll be glad that you went with the B3200, I know I did and although I'm not an expert I have had a few Kubota's. Good luck with yours.

The B3030 has the exact same engine as the B3200, it is the V1505 4 cylinder engine, same bore same stroke

I'd like to add this information, maybe it will help some one in the market. I had an older (1996) Kubota 2150 tractor that was everything one could expect out of a small compact tractor. So like most I thought when it was time to upgrade that I needed a tractor with a little more HP, I wanted to stay with the B model because of lower center of gravity then the L model as I use it in the woods as much as anywhere else and the B has a lower tip over possibility then the L models. I went on the hunt for a nice used B3200 thinking that was going to fill my needs better then any other model. I ended up buying a B3030 because I just ran into a great deal from someone selling his house and just wanted to get rid of the tractor. Now like I said the B3030 wasn't exactly what I wanted because I had my mind set on a B3200. After buying the B3030 I discovered that it is much more tractor then the B3200 and new even costs more. Both tractors have the exact same engine, (4 CYL V1505) the 3030 has about 100 lbs on the 3200 which for me is a good thing for moving logs in the woods. It has tilt steering wheel which is great for getting off the tractor, adjustable links on the 3pt hitch, ratcheting level adjustment you don't need a tool for, power assisted steering and a few other small things that the 3200 does not have. I am very happy with the 3030 over the 3200 for the small things that make life easier, hope this helps. Muddbug
