What country would you live in if you could?

Switzerland, without doubt. Still to this day the central Alps is the single most beautiful place I have ever been. I could happily settle in Grindelwald with my coveralls, though I would truly miss my own lovely country. I agree with Egon, we are fortunate to have so many beautiful places within our own borders (both in the US and his Canada) and perhaps I need to see more of them.

What a fun post. I love my nation (despite having a number of misgivings that shall not be stated here on TBN due to the policies of the site ).

But, if I had to move I probably would look at the oft mentioned:

US
Switzerland
New Zealand
Australia

They all sound so awesome (I have never been anywhere other than the US and Canada).

I brought Sweden home to New Jersey thirty years ago. It's been workin out for me just fine. Not sure I'd want to have it the other way round. And besides....I can barely speak english.. can't imagine how it would be to have to learn another tongue...

Ireland might work...they all look like me over there ...or some relative of mine... so I doubt I'd ever get homesick... the food though...na...maybe not Ireland either.. and what about the dog and the cats?

If the Mrs. gets her way we'll wind up in Belfast, ME..
