How much is this used Mule worth?

2007 Kawasaki 3010 Trans Mule 4x4. 193 hours on a gas engine. Full cab.

This is located at a local dealer and I'd like to hear some price points on what you think it may be worth.

I question the hours. Those front tires are shot and the rears look new. I have a Gator XUV with 120 hours and all 4 tires look like new. That mule must have done a ton of work (on pavement?) to wear tires like that.

Do you suppose the front end was out of alignment enough to wear out the front tires? It certainly does seem odd. And did the dealer just get it in the last day or two? At least in this area, I think it would be odd for a dealer to have one that needed cleaning up as much as that one appears to need.

If those tires are that worn from alignment, it would be good to carefully look over the suspension and tie rods for wear. That much toe out or toe in would put lots of strain on steering components and cause them to wear, too, perhaps.
I agree the dealer would be foolish to not "recondition" that machine to maximize his resale profit. Two tires and a good wash would bring hundreds more.

I don't know for sure, but most that I have seen with this type of wear are because they were used almost exclusively on pavement. A lot of turns on pavement will wear front tires quickly.

I should mention this is at a tractor dealership, not an ATV dealership. It could be that they got it in an unusual way or they aren't really familiar with what they have.

Those tires and wheels are not the ones this machine started its life with. Wonder how many hours/miles thay had on them when the "upgrade" took place?

As for what it's worth, why don't you tell us what they're asking for it in its present state?

That mule has a lot more than 193 hours. I'd low ball him and keep looking.

No way for me to know., but I suspect it may have had a plow on it. From the looks of the camber, it may have heavy front struts that cause the front end to be out of whack with the plow removed.

Given it has that cab and all, might it have been used to clear parking lots or HOA's where pavement contact would be a constant issue. That kind of use will destroy tires. Unfortunately, I found this out at low hours.

I see you're in Mississippi, so it would have had to be "imported" for the use I described. I'm not sure why it would have a full cab without climate control in your climate though.

I agree with a lot of the posts above. The tires and wheels are not OEM. Maybe the front wear is due to rotating front to back or it could be it was driven in four wheel drive on hard surfaces. Lots of questions to ask. I own a 2310 mule the tires were 1/2 worn five years ago and we still can get use out of them. My local dealer had a 3010 like the one above with the diesel engine and was asking $6500. I thought a little high but it was gone after a week.

Depending on the year and the tach time it may not have been a bad deal at all.
