Does anyone make a Stirrup for the HST pedal on a BX24?

I get tired of moving my leg so far to change directions...

Also might help with the jerky stops in reverse???

On my Bx, I just slip my foot under the pedal and lift up with my toes. It hurts a little bit if you don't have boots on.

I welded a piece of 2" square tubing on top of the reverse pedal...made it a lot easier.

Been doing that too... just thought a strap or stirrup would be nice.

I don't understand... or see how that would help...

The two are too far apart. I would prefer a simple rocker pedal.

Check out the local bike shop. They may have a stirrup designed for bicycle pedals that may be easily retro-fitted.

Otherwise I'd take a look at bending one out of strap iron, and tack welding it to the pedal. If you do that, make sure it's big enough to fit your winter booties!

It's still a rocker pedal...it allows me to go forward or reverse without taking my foot off the pedal...the piece of tubing is used to decrease the distance fore and aft.

So I guess a top view would look sorta like this:...?

Close...same principle...it also decreased the amount of force required to engage...for some reason (never really dug into it) reverse travel seems a little stiffer and it helped with that (right knee is arthritic).
