I didn't ask enough questions altho I'm pretty certain the mower is a rear finish and I didn't specify HST altho that is the way I'm going to go. I told the guy I would come look and I"m sure the price will go up. I assume the rear finish mower is about 1/2 the cost of the mmm and hydrostatic transmission would add about a grand--Is that about right. In fact I went to a website and found the mower which I think they were referring to which is supposedly made for or by Kubota--name may have been Lake.
In any event I will contact Barlow but for the B2320 with mmm what would be a good or fair price?

At Barlow's site they say "name your price" and say unable to state a price due to Kubota restrictions. How do I find out their best price? Anybody dealt with them with any insight?

Thanks to all. This site has been extremely helpful to a newbie in the market who is trying to feel his way along and like everyone else wants the best deal possible but doesn't want to get the wrong thing. Seems the more I find out the more confused I become about what I want/should do.
Thanks again to all.

Have 30 acres--10 clear and will mow field that is about 2 acres, rest the wife mows with Ferrell zero turn. I would use tractor to clean up between trees-move undergrowth and mow trails thru trees. Had B7200 which I haven't used in years--I let alot of proprety go back to wild. Reallly want front end loader because I've always wanted one and have different jobs I can use it on--leveling driveway, moving/clearing snow altho in Oklahoma not a priority, and just moving dirt.
I spoke with local Kubota dealer and he is trying to sell me a B2320 which comes with loader, box scraper and 48 mower all for the zero finance of $14,000. Is that close--I will get quote from Messick b4 I do anything. Wife will not be enthused about new tractor but I pretty much get what I want since I'm 60. I do appreciate thoughts and comments and any additional suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rod
Personally I would go for a slightly bigger tractor, which would give you a larger lift capacity on the FEL. Better to have a little extra HP and weight than to wish later you did. 30 acres is a fair amount of land. Just my .02.

Another thing frequently overlooked - the rated HP on the B's is usually at about 2600RPM, while the BX's are rated at 3200 or so.

If the dealer keeps the price on the B2320 that is pretty darn good. Why don't you just call the folks at Barlow's? There have been a lot of positive feedback from their customers on this site. Some people will say that you should look at a larger machine for that acreage, but the small ones will do a LOT. Don't let the size fool you. I had a B7510 that is the older version of the B2320 and it is a great tractor. Surprised me on many occasion. The bigger ones will do it faster tho.

Kubota B7510's with a standard gear box are not very popular, and usually can be had quite cheaply. One of the problems is that the pto is transmission driven so when you push in the clutch the pto stops. Make sure you know, and understand how this will affect what you will be doing. Perhaps it is no issue at all, but the standard transmission is a very good bargining chip! Don't offer too much.
