I am looking to save a few bucks and would like to know if there is another brand of oil recommended besides Kubota motor oil, ie Rotella, etc. Also does anyone have any online parts suppliers that have very good pricing? I am in need of some new filters. TIA!

Oil is well, depends on what you are looking for..Price, where top buy iy, high TBN, low pour, no/low ash, longer drain etc. For me, a good oil is not gonna be bought at Chinamart.
Parts is easy, low for a site sponsor..
I like them and I could careless on ther sponsor part..thatguy

I think you would be hard pressed to beat the Rotella T 15w40 oil for the price/quality break point.. There will always be a cheaper oil being sold by someone, but the Rotella has had a great reputation for many years..

Rotella 15w-40 is great if you like a oil that is way lower then others in TBN, pour point that means you will need a block heater in some cold areas. This 15w-40 is low in VI and high in ASH levels (great for turbos)..I can keep going..
Since I also live down here, Rotella is like NASCAR down south...It is great a oil (at Wlamart) sure, but compared to others, it is worth the $15 to %19 beans.
Would I use it, NO! the stuff is too thick for me and there are better oils. Why? Test a few and post it since the data on this forum is lacking.....

I asked my Kubota dealer about using CaseIH No. 1 engine oil, 15W40, and he
said it shouldn't be a problem as long as it meets Kubota's requirements. We've
been using Case IH oil for so long in all our other tractors I just hate to stock
something else. Now I'm not sure whether we should used CaseIH Hy-Tran Ultra hydraulic fluid in the Kubota or not.
