skid steer york rake

Look at that... a cabbed Kubota! Didn't know you traded/sold your Challanger for a bigger tractor. (I liked the Grand series 40's models and seriously considered the 5740.)

How about mounting a 3pt hitch adaptor on your FEL SS? Then you could rent/buy a regular York or other landscape rake (with gauge wheels) and work it from your loader that way.

Deere makes a SS to 3pt adaptor for their WorkPro series implements. Right there on the Construction page and WorkPro.

AKfish

Postscript - have seen the rake models that will pivot 180 degrees and reverse but never ones with guage wheels.

Here's the only one I found:

Seems easier than turning around like I have been for the last 20 years straining my neck. Other nice thing is that it's power angling (I have front hydraulics) and can handle over 80HP tractors. You can also use the loader arms & bucket function to feather the rake jst where you want.

Landpride & Woods biggest rake is rated to 60-65HP and LP is not available in power angling, only power tilting, so attaching a rear mount to a front SS plate may void warranty.

I can't find a landscape rake rated to be on a tractor >65HP and includes a hydraulic angling feature except for York brand.

After an exhaustive search, I found a clean 4 yr old 8' RI-8 York brand rake with a set of gauge wheels/tires which is a $465 option. The rake would sell for $2,650+ tax. I can get it for $1,995. Dealer is looking into a hydraulic cylinder for me.

Might have to settle for rear mount unless I can figure a way to use a skid steer plate and mount it myself.

wait, that skid steer mount would work!

Try skid steer 3 point adapter or Three-Point Hitch Adapter for Skid Steers from Budget I might try to find a cat 2 one though.

From the pictures on Iron Search and at the York site it looks like you could pull the two or three bolts that go through the pivoting arm and flip the rake around pretty quickly.
