post hole digger

I found someone selling a John Deere Model 31a post hole digger. Does anyone know if that will work with my small kubota bx1860?

My guess is no due to the "limited" 3PH of your machine...you probably won't be able to lift it high enough for the auger to clear the ground.

Do you know the specs of that post hole digger? I haven't found them.

I do not, sorry. But as far as I know its is a standard duty PHD for CAT1 hitches. Woods markets the PHD25 for SCUT tractors with limited CAT1 hitches.

I have found another post hole digger on craigslist and this is what the owner said about the dimensions:

"The over all length from the gear box to where it attaches to the tractor is about 6', the distance between the two pins where the tractor arms would attach is about 2' 6". The p.t.o. shaft is adjustable from about 4' on out to whatever length is needed."

Does anyone know if that would work with my bx1860?
