Pin on vs. Q/A Survey for FEL

Mine came with the pin-on (according to dealer was not available for LA463 at the time). I talked a friend into buying from the same dealer, and when he made the deal (I was there with him and his wife), he said to the dealer "you didn't sell this me on this tractor, or this dealer, my friend did, and he wants a Q/A for his Kubota".... "Help him out". And that's how I got my kubota Q/A at dealer cost.

I had to buy a $165.00 Q/A plate and spend 6 hours with my dad and some tools (but you can't buy times like that). I would never buy another new tractor without a Q/A again, and if I bought a used tractor, I would do the Q/A all over again.

Don't have QA but wish I did. May add it one day. QA forks would be handy. I realize I would give up a slight amount of lift but the benefit of the QA seems well worth it.

Bought used; it came with pin on. Didn't want to foot the expense of converting at the time.

I bought my L4400HST Kubota with SSQA and it is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Skid steer carrier type QA should be the only choice. It is universal, not expensive, works good for changing out attachments, can use a wide variety of attachments and should be the only one available for any CUT. Yes, JD has their own version but it is not as adaptable or useful for non-JD attachments.
For bigger tractors the global carrier attachment has become the norm - even for JD.

I have JD QA and so does Son, so we can swap attachments if necessary. If not for that would have purchased JD SSQA. Ruled out those with only Pin On.

So far it is; Pin on 6, Q/A 7, JD style 3, Power Trac 1 and one opinion but no answer. Lots of yada yada but wanted this to be a simple survey of TBN members to get a basic idea of what people actually have.
