I have a feeling there may be some phase adjustment built in if it is a very high quality head.
Look at todays ac line conditioners made by APC. I use them. they not only regulate ac line voltage ( raise or lower anywhere from 90v to 300v ).. but can correct small frequency issues. the technology is readilly available.. just you have to pay for it. an apc line conditioner costs more than a ups.
