i am looking to find the 1/2 inch dia. pins that go thru the attachment bars on the 3 pt hitch that have female instead of male threads to secure them to the attachment. Has anyone got any help

A picture would help. I'm not following the question. 1/2" diam pins with female threads?

I'm pretty sure he's asking about the pins on the implement that engage the tractor's draft (lower) links.
I've never seen them with female threads, but I can't say I've ever looked for them either.

frankp0202 could check out Tractor Supply or contact the implement manufacturer.

Not quite sure of your use for them, but check the link below to see if this is similiar to what you're looking for.

I'm not sure what the question is either.

I was going to respond last night but I didn't want to be the first to admit that I didn't know what "female threads" are.

I assume he is looking for pins that go on an attachment.??....Should be easy enough to find.??....No.??

Just consider male threads as threads you see on a bolt & female threads as those where the bolt screws in. Male = external threads ; Female = internal threads

I'd think a nut has female threads. Like male threads are made with a die, and female threads with a tap.
Maybe OP Frankp0202 will enlighten us all. Seems we learn something new everyday here. :)

Ooohh. I get it.

Now, I wonder why Frank needs female threads.??
