Fluid Film

Great stuff. I got mine at the JD dealer, about $10.00 can.

I sprayed it on just about everything in the shop that turns, hinges or otherwise moves. It works much better that wd40.

I have a battery terminal on my truck that corrodes constantly. I have wire brushed it , sprayed it with post protector, sprayed with wd40, old oil,...everything I could think of, and it always corrodes again.

I sprayed it with Fluid Film, and it has yet to corrode several months later.

I also spray it on a rag, and wipe down my tractor with it after I wash it.

You might want to search for previous threads on fluid film... it seems there was a fairly short shelf life on some of the spray cans, so the bulk seemed like a better solution if you don't use a lot (that sounds kind of contradictory !!). The stuff is amazing and I highly recommend it.

Thank you for that information. Sounds like it's better to buy the gallon and use a brush or pump spray bottle for application.

Be careful with the spray bottle idea. Been There Done That and it don't work. :D:laughing:

The FF in the gallon jug is very thick. To get it to spray you would need to thin the FF some how. I never did figure out the some how so I used a brush and bought the spray can for when I need to spray.

The FF in the jug has stuff floating in it. :D Globs of stuff. Thick stuff. Big gooey gopher guts gobs of stuff.

I have spray cans of Fluid Film that are two years plus that spray just fine. I keep them in the trucks and the barn. They seem to have a better shelf life than WD40 spray cans.

Love FF. I use it to condition my leather boots as well. Got the tip from a boot salesman.

I bought a spray can at my Kubota dealer. He told me that brush up the undersides of their outside tractors in the fall each year.

My spray cans died after about a year. Unused cans would spray for a few seconds and then die.

My dealer just delivered a spray can of Fluid Film. They don't carry the gallon jugs.
He was dropping off a quick hitch so we killed 2 birds with one stone.

Cost was $9.78 (including tax). I hope it's as good as you guys say it is!
