You should see someone about your "TAS" = trailer acquisition syndrome LOL!

I'm glad to know there are others with TAS.

These are the trailers I have:
-Fixed deck 16' tandem: I'm planning to sell this one when I get my tilt fixed up.
-tilt 16' tandem: This is a project trailer.
-6'X8' tilt ATV trailer: Hopefully I'll eventually use this little trailer to haul my ATV behind my 5th wheel camper.
-A single axle gooseneck featherlite horse trailer: This is the goofiest looking horse trailer with the single axle, but I can turn the thing around on a dime and it is useful for more than just hauling horses around. It actually belongs to my neighboor, but I keep it at my house, I maintain it, and I'm the only one that uses it.
-A Homemade 3'X4' dump trailer. This one is more of a cart than a trailer since it's only good for slow speeds, but I had to list it here because I probably use it more than any of my other trailers.

I also have the above mentioned 5th wheel camper, but that doesn't count for this discussion.

The irony of my trailer collection is that all of my trailers have different connections to the truck. I have 2" ball, 1 7/8" ball, Gooseneck Ball, and Fifth Wheel plate connections.

I'd like to have fewer trailers. The storage space is valuable. As I mentioned above, I'm planning on selling one of the 16 footers. If it weren't for the need for a lighter weight trailer to pull behind my camper, I'd use the tandem axle for everything.

I too, have a little Snoco - exactly like yours except mine's black & silver. I use it for utility and hauling motorcycles on occation. Low to the ground with a drop tailgate. Perfect little trailer for utility purposes.

Now I'm lookng for a 20', perhaps a PJ, for my L3400.

Yours is only the 3rd one I've seen of this model! Somebody had one on Des Moines CL a year or so ago (for twice what I paid for mine), it was painted Wheel Horse colors. Mine is as close (color wise) to original as I could get using "off-the-shelf" paint. Rustoleum "Seafoam Green" for the fenders & gate straps & "Smoke Gray" for the body, the original gray had a slight greenish tinge to it! I wanted something I could touch up easily. Added the higher rock guard to the front to protect garden tractors! ~~ grnspot110

I am in the two (or more) camp. I have a locally built 5' x 8' single axle I have had for many years and would not part with and the 16' double axle I just bought to haul my tractor.

The trailer you got the tractor on, did you design the ramps or did it come that way, like the way it is set up, bet it makes it easyer on your hitch when loading and un-loading.

I have three: an open 16' dual axle, single axel 10' and a 5'x10' dump. Oh, don't forget the wifey's 6'x10' enclosed.

I bought the trailer used and the previous owner had the ramps built. The ramps work quite well. Unfortunately he attached the ramps with bolts and then welded the nuts so you can't remove the ramps if necessary. I plan the replace the bolts with hitch pins.

I guess I have TAS too. I have 5 trailers.

24' X 7 1/2' enclosed jobsite trailer. This one hasn't moved in 25 years. I just use it for storing scaffold, ladders, etc.
20' X 8' enclosed jobsite trailer.
Small travel trailer. I'll eventually sell those three trailers. At least my wife says I will.

I have a 14' Benhke dump trailer. I use it all the time and would recommend Behnke (B&B) trailers to anyone. I also have a home made 20' X 8 1/2' 3 axle deck over flatbed. Great for hauling equipment, cars, or material. It's a great trailer but the 9' steel ramps are a killer. My engineer friend recently designed aluminum ramps for it. They're going to be expensive but should be much easier to handle. I can't foresee any reason to ever get rid of either of those trailers. I can also envision a new enclosed trailer in my future. I'm not sure why anyone would want to limit themselves to one trailer if they could have more.......you know, the right tool (trailer) for the job thing.:D
