You should see someone about your "TAS" = trailer acquisition syndrome LOL!
I'm glad to know there are others with TAS.
These are the trailers I have:
-Fixed deck 16' tandem: I'm planning to sell this one when I get my tilt fixed up.
-tilt 16' tandem: This is a project trailer.
-6'X8' tilt ATV trailer: Hopefully I'll eventually use this little trailer to haul my ATV behind my 5th wheel camper.
-A single axle gooseneck featherlite horse trailer: This is the goofiest looking horse trailer with the single axle, but I can turn the thing around on a dime and it is useful for more than just hauling horses around. It actually belongs to my neighboor, but I keep it at my house, I maintain it, and I'm the only one that uses it.
-A Homemade 3'X4' dump trailer. This one is more of a cart than a trailer since it's only good for slow speeds, but I had to list it here because I probably use it more than any of my other trailers.
I also have the above mentioned 5th wheel camper, but that doesn't count for this discussion.
The irony of my trailer collection is that all of my trailers have different connections to the truck. I have 2" ball, 1 7/8" ball, Gooseneck Ball, and Fifth Wheel plate connections.
I'd like to have fewer trailers. The storage space is valuable. As I mentioned above, I'm planning on selling one of the 16 footers. If it weren't for the need for a lighter weight trailer to pull behind my camper, I'd use the tandem axle for everything.
