hi beenthere, i have disconnected wires from electric clutch, so there is no power to clutch, but same thing happens, soon as i flick the mower switch,engine dies, could it be a dead short? or that mower switch?
Might be you are getting warmer...as to where the problem is. Now bypass the switch, and see if the electric clutch will take 12v and function. If so, it is maybe your switch.
Best work from a wiring schematic. I'd visit my friendly Deere dealer for some help there.
