L3010 looking for advice

Found 1999 Kubota L3010 4wd with 350 hours in excellent shape and very clean...ran great. Owner is asking $11,500. The tractor does not have a FEL. The only attachment it comes with is a 5 ft scraper blade.

I checked with a Kubota dealer and can get a new equivalent model for approx. $16,200 with warranty and 0% financing. Based on this, $11,500 seems to be high for an 11 year old tractor, although it is in very good shape. I was thinking $8500 would be more reasonable.

Is this a deal or no deal? Any input would be much appreciated.

I don't know anything about that model, but just bought a seven year old L5030 and in shopping around, used prices are not as low as some would think. Resale value is one of the reasons to go with Kubota or John Deere at least in my area. Good luck.

Make an offer, what have you got to loose? As far as paying full price for it, a brand new machine for $700. more is a no brainer! 350 hours is nothing as far as wear & tear goe's, however, 11 years is old technology by kubota standards imho.

I would say $8000.00 to 8500.00 is more like it with no loader.

Our neighbor is selling her deceased husband's 2001 L3010HST <300 hours,LA462 loader,Landpride 6' rear blade,R1 tires,garage kept,serviced.Asking #11,500.Sounds reasonable to me.Seems to follow Leejohn's thoughts.

There was no mention of the tranmission which could make a difference as to value.

A new comparable would be a L3240 although it does have some new features but when you compare them to much of the new models the 3130 is a great tractor and essentually full featured by todays standards.
