Has anyone done this? I found this option on the deere site:
Third selective control valve kit

it says 'kit does not include a valve' -- i'm confused. What does this kit actually do?

Your loader valve already has a third spool. This kit includes includes everything you need to make use of it.

This is only true on the mid and larger machines, not the small framed tractors.

The third SCV kit (pictured below) comes with it's own valve, but I am not sure how it hooks up since the lines appear to go from the IN/OUT ports to the work ports in the diagram :confused2::confused:

I can't figure this out it JDParts...unless there is something new in the works since this was just updated in April?

Strange, I'm going to ask my dealer about it. Was thinking about adding a small cylinder to my 3pt to get the 'tilt' portion of 'top 'n tilt'.

Kenny, that picture you posted is awesome. Its like the mobius strip of hydraulics.

This is only true on the mid and larger machines, not the small framed tractors.
My fault. Didn't seem to make any sense otherwise...

However, this is towards the bottom and explains everything I think:
NOTE: Designed to work independently of the loader, the 3rd SCV kit does require LVB25603 power beyond kit to function.

EDIT: Duh, no, that still doesn't explain what the lever controls....

From the description again:
Allows using third spool on selective control valve

Are you sure the loader valve doesn't have a third spool? Cause which spool is it referring to then?

I wish I knew:confused2:

Look a the picture below, there is only two spools. It's the same basic setup as my 4110...

Kenny, like you said of the mobius picture, that has a valve. And the description of the kit says its supposed to hook to the Power Beyond. That makes perfect sense and would work.

So I think the link posted by Phunge is just wrong in that a valve is not included. The valve IS included. It kind of looks like someone at Deere just cut-copy-pasted the description of the kit from another tractor model.

What a mess.

Just run an electric diverter valve with a button on your joystick to control it and a set of ports at the back of the machine. I did and use it for the chute rotator on my blower and hyd top link in the summer. Cost abt $800.00 cdn and a few hrs of work, only had to drill 2 holes to mt the diverter. But as they say for every problem there are a thousand solutions.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

hi Saskman -- do you have any pictures of your setup? What do you use the hydraulic top-link for?
