I posted this question in both the Vintage JD forum and current JD forum.

I realize what i am asking might be impossible but my friend really like using this tractor and he said it is just the right amount of power and size to run his rake.

I am assuming this tractor have a fixed displacement pump, and it is an open center system....on some tractors it is not that easy...pump etc. can be built in, inside some major transmission housing etc....

If the current control valve do not allow a power beyond valve down stream....it might be possible to access the plumbing of pump pressure line.....and "insert" a 2-spool control valve up stream the current valve, and let the current hydraulics run down stream, "power beyond", from this new valve....New valve needs to be power beyond capable though....and have its own adjustable pressure relief valve....

thats my 2c .....I know there are others more knowledgeable about this, that might fill in with more/better advice
