To cab or not to cab?

I would like to have a cab, but I wouldn't be able to hear my wife yell at me when I put the mulch in the wrong place. If I had a cab, I'd only see hand gestures indicating I was number one. :)

AND you could get your hand gestures while you have a radio and AC going.....

Since your wife is skilled in hand gestures; was she a 'Shooter' on an aircraft carrier in a previous life? :D

Yep, it sure is easy using my tractor in a suit, and it does not get dirty either:thumbsup:

Heck, I've been doing it all wrong...I've been in the cab nekked this whole time! Its just like sitting in my lazy-boy, only difference is instead of watching the news or Modern Marvels I'm clearing brush, snowblowing or tilling the garden...

On a serious note...Thats another thing I prefer on the cab. The seat...I HATE Vinyl seats. Nice deluxe cloth seat keeps my rear end in tip top shape

For me, the dowside is missing out on getting real dirty every time I use the tractor. Or I could get cold and wet in the winter. Or I would have to worry about bees, or wasps, or allergies... Or I would have to listen to the radio while I work and be comfortable no matter the weater.. I would hate to miss out on all that, so I would never get a cab.:D

I agree, don't get a cab. There is nothing like bushhogging poison ivy in the spring and getting those little bits of leaves and stems down your collar and sticking to your sweat. Later in the day when the blisters and rash appear it really gets fun and you don't even have to burn diesel to enjoy that feeling.

Yeah that cloth seat made waterproof by the cab, is quite good for comfort. and it does not get too hot in the Sun!

LOL! And that worry about the wind blowing the pesticide and weed killer over the operator when the wind turns on you.

I was out with the rotary cutter getting the edges of the harvested wheat fields and I came up on some friends who were out trying to shoot stuff with their paintball guns. Needless to say that without a cab, that could have hurt. I should have taken pictures of the tractor when I was done. They must have shot the windows a hundred times.....

The single BEST reason to get a cab just arrived here last Monday....I'm now officially a DAD!
So needless to say this winter I'll have a snowblowing buddy!

Beause the interior of the JD Cab is on par with any BMW I've ever been in, SWMBO has no problems with me driving him around.
